JUST DO IT

I just read the comments you guys posted on my last post. OK - this is it. NO MERCY!!! I want to see how many days in a row I can exercise. COUNTING the trip to the ocean.

I need a potty chart. I need to give myself a star for every 10 minutes of exercise I do.

I need 40 stars by Easter to eat a pecan nouget egg. I know I am not supposed to reward with food - but that is my ULTIMATE guilty pleasure.

Why not reward with food if the reward is a one-time thing and requires a LOT of good behavior to get there? It's not as if you're rewarding daily exercise with daily trips to Coldstone!

When was it we did the daily exercise challenge? I think I managed to fit in exercise every day (10 minutes was the minimum, but usually I did 30) for a month, I think? I can't remember how long that lasted. There were a couple of days when I just jumped rope (jump roped?) in the kitchen for ten minutes at the end of the day. I should go back to that challenge for myself. I'm pretty good about getting to the gym three days a week, but I'm not doing more than that and I should!

I think the first no-excuses challenge was around Thanksgiving, or slightly before, in 2005. I remember doing crunches on the bedroom floor at the Crawfords' on a day when it had rained all day and we'd been busy every second anyway. So -- if I could do it then, I can do it now!
