Pistachios are a bad idea

I can't seem to lay off them!  So yesterday I got no exercise because it was a busy day, and I ended up eating WAY too much, mostly in pistachios.  My half pound came back this morning.  Today I have a gym appointment, but not until 5:30, so it's going to be hard to stay enthused about that!  I have choir immediately after so I'll barely have time for dinner.

Pistachios are actually a GOOD idea - but you need to moderate your consumption. Rebecca got mad at me when I criticized myself for pistachios. She said they are SO packed with nutrients you absolutely shouldn't regret eating them. They are the OPPOSITE of empty calories - but calories none the less. I find it very helpful to measure out half a cup into a snack bag and eat just them. Put the rest away - or prepackage them all. It does help the binge mode.
