Doomed, doomed, doomed

Check this link out: http://walking.about.com/library/cal/blthanksgivingcalories.htm You can check off the things you're likely to eat on Thanksgiving and get a calorie count, along with how far you'll have to walk to burn off the meal. I put in my usual stuff, but they didn't have everything (no pumpkin cheesecake, no glazed carrots) and my total was 2040 calories! I'll have to walk over 20 miles to burn that off.

Yikes!! They had "candied sweet potatoes" but I don't think those are quite the same as sweet potatoes with every kind of goo on top. I don't know what I'll be snacking on during the day, if anything will be available, but breakfast alone was a solid 400+ calories (I didn't try to hold back, though). My dinner comes to 1575 -- without whipped cream on the pumpkin pie. I don't think I can walk the 15.75 miles they recommend...

OK - I had to add on an extra two glasses of wine, but I took off 4 of the 6 oz of turkey (6 oz is a LOT of turkey!!)- so that was a wash there. Then, tell me, who actually EATS a 1/2 cup of cranberries, gravy or jello salad? I had maybe 1-2 tablespoons of each. None the less - I still have to walk 19.75 miles. GACK! Emily, what kind of skimpy Thanksgiving dinner are YOU eating!??! I am still full this morning!
