I haven't had the same candy issue as you guys, probably because we had nothing left and I have no kids to bring it back home...BUT Amy did transfer custody of my Girl Scout cookies to me Friday night, and the was very, very bad. I am not responsible enough to NOT EAT THEM ALL. I really think I could live on thin mints and diet dr pepper.
Friday night I was at Amy's with half of you, so you know what I ate since you were eating it too :) Saturday I had corn chex for breakfast, leftover ziti with meat sauce for lunch and then Joe & I went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner and I indulged in a black and bleu burger with fries. The fries were ok; the onion straws, however, were exceptional and I ate more than I had planned. I ate 3/4 of my burger, with the last 1/4 not having the bun. Exercise on Saturday was staining the deck. We still aren't done...
Today Joe & I got up and went for a 1.5 mile walk to counteract the burgers last night, then we ate salads for lunch and I had leftover ziti and meat sauce for dinner just now. I also did the entire Pilates for Dummies DVD before dinner. I cannot do the last 2 exercises where you have to hold yourself up--my arms are so incredibly weak, especially the one I broke when I was in high school. I have to figure out what to do about that because it just aches when I try to do anything with it. I think it has something to do with the way it was set--it never was totally realigned into a straight line and the two broken bone halves were allowed to overlap as it healed. Or at least I am hypothesizing, but I can defeinitely feel something going on right at the break location. I will try to ask my doctor next time I am in there...
In and around all this food was the girl scout cookies. I am headed upstairs in a few minutes to package them into decent portions to take along for lunch each day this week. The problem with them is the way I prefer to eat the thin mints--pop a whole cookie in your mouth and chomp down on it, letting it fill the roof of your mouth. Don't ask me why...I really have no idea.
