This morning after reading Sarah and Julie talk about Pilates I was inspired to try it out again. The DVD Katie and I have been using for our Kickboxing and other stuff has a 10 minute Pilates routine on it. We tried it a while ago and it was SO hard that we never went back to it. But I also had a Pilates For Dummies DVD that I never even watched - so I decided to give it a shot. I REALLY liked it. It wasn't as intense as the 10 minute one (although it lasted 35 minutes). It went over technique and the basic structure of Pilates a lot more - so I know I was doing it more correctly. There were parts that were difficult - but at no point did I feel like I would NEVER be able to do the whole routine. So - I will be adding that one into my inventory of workouts to use.
I was pretty bad about my eating today. I started with four (FOUR) (4) mini Halloween candy bars. Then later in the day I ate FOUR (it seems to be my number today) Tagalongs. I ate a healthy sandwich with lots of lettuce for lunch - and had a big serving of green beans for dinner - along with my chicken parmesan over angelhair pasta. I did divide our dinner servings into enough for lunch tomorrow too - so at least we didn't overeat for dinner. I haven't had any fruit yet today. I will probably have some applesauce before I go to bed.
Julie - I REALLY like the links you posted today. The article was very interesting - and the healthy body calculator was pretty cool - although, I am not sure if I measured the right part of my elbow. That was kind of confusing.
Tomorrow I am at an off site seminar all day - so I probably won't post again until fairly late in the day - or on into the evening. My weight was down again this morning (205.4 again) but it will probably go back up. I feel like I have consumed a lot of salt today.
