Yikes! The Wrong Way!

I have been MIA for a fews days because we have been in Ocean City. While the weekend was a lot of fun, it was completely anti-healthy living. I think the only green thing I consumed all weekend was a bottle of Mike's Lime flavored hard lemonade. Friday was especially bad--there was very little food in the house so I had oreos for breakfast. Then I was the only girl in the office Friday and the boys wanted to go to Pizza Hut for lunch. I didn't do too bad there--2 slices of pizza--one plain cheese and one with tomatos and pineapple. Then Joe & I split the 2 hamburger McD's meal on the way to OC. I will proudly say that is only the 2nd time I have eaten at McD's this year. I watched Super Size Me in late January and have been totally put off by the place since. Then we got to OC and found Terry & Jason & Matt & Rachel and I had 2 red, fruity drinks, a mudslide and something else that I can't really remember. Then we got on the drunk bus to go back to our hotel but it went the wrong way and took us out of OC. That was pretty funny. Especially since we ran down the street to catch it in the first place. Then every one was hungry so Sandra ordered papa john's and I drunkly ate 2 slices with that icky butter crap. I remember thinking how gross it was as I ate it but I was also half laying in the floor just eating out of the box so there was definitely no rational thoughts going through my head to stop anything. I am glad I don't drink often. I think that adds up to about 10,000 total calories for Friday alone.

Saturday we walked from 25th St to 5th St to eat at the Dough Roller. I had blueberry pancakes. Then we walked back. After a nap, we all went to Phillips Seafood Buffet where we all engorged ourselves. I must say I do not want seafood again for a long time. I am not even sure if I can write everything I ate because it sort of turns my stomach to even think about it. Crab soup...steamed shrimp, fried shrimp, crab cakes, crab imperial, chicken wings...and some alfredo seafood thing was truly was delicious. Terry got it and couldn't eat it so I had some and then Joe had some and we still threw half of it away. It was too rich to eat more than 4 bites of. Joe & I didn't eat as much as everyone else. I think Sandra & Rachel may have put the Alaskan King Crab on the endangered species list...

Sunday breakfast was a sausage & egg sandwich from Wawa with a tea, cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese for lunch, ham salad sandwich for dinner and a candy apple from the farm market.

So total up that weekend and I think it lands me 3 pounds up from where I was last Tuesday. I am certain I will not break even in 2 days. At the same time I am not eating like that again anytime soon. I went to the farm market today and got some veggies and fruit. Wednesday Marian & I are going to Let's Dish for the October stock up. That place is a really nice way to control portions. I also decided that I am not eating out AT ALL this week.

BLAH! I hate that I couldn't eat better this weekend, but I guess that will happen from time to time, and is especially likely when you are with a large group of people who pay no attention to what they consume alcohol or food wise.
