Monday--back on track

Today I managed my food MUCH better than over the weekend. Raisin bread for breakfast, a ham sandwich on whole wheat for lunch with a pear and a banana as a snack. When I got home I did have another slice of rasin bread as a snack. Then I made spinach for dinner with the let's dish chicken, rice and broccoli which I think is yucky (I do not like anything with broccoli) so I ate one bite of chicken and Joe packed the rest up for lunch. He loves the dish, which is why I got it in the first place. I did have a small brownie for dessert. On the good side I stayed away from both the soda machine and the snack machine at work. That is something like 6 work days straight, which is really good for me. Those machines lure me somehow, and they are both trouble since they contain nothing but garbage food.

I am not sure if I will break even tomorrow, but we'll see what the scale says in the morning. I did exercise today--I tilled the ground under our deck stairs by hand and then planted a bunch of pachysandra. After that, I came in and did some strength training before I cooked dinner.
