Just a daily update

I'll weigh in tomorrow and make that a post of its own -- I have discovered I have a hard time remembering what I ate after I slept on it, so it's easier to post at night. Today I had my usual breakfast, and then for lunch I had vanilla yogurt and a piece of toast with a bit of margarine. I had an apple for a snack, and then for dinner I had a frozen fish fillet (pre-grilled -- I microwaved it. They're pretty good, very easy, and only 100 calories apiece. I eat them when the kids have fish sticks) with a piece of whole wheat bread and margarine (again just a bit) and some bell pepper slices. And a glass of milk. I had a piece of leftover birthday cake for dessert -- definitely not good for the diet! -- and a very small glass of white wine.

I exercised tonight by doing my "Buns and Abs of Steel 2000" workout -- it's just a normal aerobics tape with lower body toning. I made the amazing discovery that the bike riding is doing some good! In the past this has felt like a pretty good workout, but today it was totally wimpy. Even the ab work, which I was dreading because I haven't been doing any, was no big deal. It's a beginners' workout tape, but usually I am a beginner when I do it. So I need to dig out (or buy) some harder tapes.

I'm not holding my breath that the scale will bring good news, but at least I'm starting to get back on track -- despite the cake!
